This show was formerly known as the Western National Young Bird show.  In previous years it was held in Portland, Oregon at the Armory.  This year the pigeon show has moved a few files north to Vancouver, Washington.  The Quay Hotel is a beautiful facility on the Columbia River.
The Washington State Vet has given permission for pigeons to come into Washington on a 96-hour allotment with no health certificate or other paperwork as long as there is a Vet at the show checking out-of-state birds as they come in. Dr. Daniel Fiske, DVM will be on site Friday evening and Saturday.

Entries will close Saturday, October 8, 2005. Entry fee will be $3.00 per bird with a .50˘ discount on entry fee for more than 25 birds entered by one exhibitor. Orrie Moore will be general judge. Coop-in will start Friday evening, October 21, 2005 after hall set-up until 11:00pm and begin again Saturday morning at 7:30am. All birds including substitutions must coop- in by 9:00am. There will be a junior “two bird” competition for all juniors with special prizes. Junior judging will begin at 9:00am and open class judging will start at 10:00am. For Sale coops will be available on a first come first served basis. You will order them on your entry blank.

We invite all Specialty Clubs and encourage them to make this show their “big” meet. Select your own judge for your Specialty Meet. A rebate of $1.00 per bird is offered to the participating club for each bird entered.
